This wall on the lower level of the Mendel Science Center is quite literally bursting with nature. Perfectly suited to a building devoted to the sciences, this sustainable installation is designed to last for years without water, light or soil. The vertical garden of cascading moss plants serves as a vibrant backdrop in the Wynne Commons, an indoor space in the recently renovated Mendel East lobby that invites Villanovans to connect with the natural environment as they grab a cup of coffee, meet up with friends or relax.
